Crime Prevention Meeting and Pool/Tennis Key Distribution

Paces Club Pavilion
Crime Prevention - Cobb County Police will host a crime prevention
meeting at the Club House. A Cobb County police officer will
give tips about crime prevention, how to deal with situations
when you witness illegal activities, and answer residents
questions.
Pool/Tennis Key Distribution - Pool and tennis court keys
will be distributed at the end of the meeting. You must be
current with your annual assessment(s) to receive a key. If
a member is not current with the annual assessment(s) and
would like to receive a key, the member will be allowed to
pay the assessment(s) plus any penalties and interest accrued
due to the nonpayment of the assessment(s). Such payment must
be in a form of a certified check or money order.

Attention Paces Club Residents!
There will be an informational Swim Team meeting next Tuesday,
March 2 at 7:00 P.M. at the paviliion. Come get your questions
answered and register your child for the Paces Club Summer
Swim Team! We need at least 49 swimmers (ages 5-18)registered
by March 10 in order to have a team, so spread the word to
your friends and neighbors! Registration fees are not due
until May 1. Click here to print

2010 Annual Assessment
12/07/09
The HOA Board has decided to move the due date to pay the
annual assessment to April 1st. Residents will receive a letter
in December that will include the approved 2010 HOA Budget
and information about the 2010 annual assessment.
Election Results
12/07/09
Unfortunately, although elections were held, there were not
enough attendees and proxies to make quorum. There were five
candidates for five open positions. The HOA Board decided
to honor the community vote and appointed Keith Simington
to the HOA Board. Keith will fill Michelle Goodsite's position.

opportunity to make a difference in your neighborhood. We
are asking for volunteers to run for the HOA Board. Please
contact any current HOA Board member if you have questions

To Paces Club Residents:
7/30/09
Riverside Management and the HOA Board have received calls
and emails about a garbage collection company soliciting in
the neighborhood. The company claims the HOA Board chose them
to be the only garbage collection in Paces Club and that "they
are the last one" to sign up for the service. They are even
going to homes as late as 9 p.m.
Please be aware that the Paces Club HOA Board DOES NOT ENDORSE,
or select garbage collection services for the subdivision.
You are free to sign up with any company you would like.
Please email us the company contact information if you have
it. The HOA Board will follow up with the company to request
they stop using false information to sign up residents, and
to file a complaint with the proper organizations.
Regarding door-to-door solicitations, the county permits door-to-door
solicitations only if the person has registered with the county's
business license office. A registration badge must be worn
by solicitors and will include their name, address, organization
and a photograph. Solicitation without a registration badge
is prohibited. County police will respond to reports of unregistered
solicitors.

July 4th Celebration

Our neighborhood July 4th Celebration will be held on Saturday June 27th at 10:00am. There will be a parade, food, games, prizes and fun at the pool.

Community Meeting
5/6/09
Pool and Tennis Courts Keys distribution will be on Tuesday,
May 12 at 7:00 pm at Summit Baptist Church. There will be
a special meeting to discuss:
- Covenant and Bylaws revisions and start approval process by members of the Homeowners Association;
- Activities and finances of the Paces Club Homeowners Association, Inc.; and
- Distribute pool and tennis court keys.
We encourage you to attend this important meeting.

Parking Clarification
12/14/08
Recently you should have received your statement of account
from Riverside Management. Due to a miscommunication, the
sticker attached to the invioce should have referred to the
parking of commercial vehicles in the driveway.
New Board In Place
12/07/08
After consultation and direction from our attorneys about
how to proceed in the wake of not having quorum for our recent
elections, the board has voted to appoint 2 new members. One
vacancy was created when Naudja Threadgil moved out of the
community, and the other when Chris Conrad resigned.
At the monthly board meeting on December 7, 2008, the 3 remaining
board members voted unanimously on a resolution to appoint
Kelly Simcox and César Zapata as new members to the
board. Kelly will become Vice President and César will
take over as secretary. The remaining board members will remain
in their previous positions.
Riverside Management Company
