PARKING PROBLEMS

Posted on: ♦24 March 2012 ♦
Parking

Residents, please be aware that effective Monday April 23, our police patrol will start monitoring the parking issues we have on our streets and will start enforcing any violations at their discretion. This could possibly include tickets or towing, if warranted. Please park your vehicles in your garages or driveways as often as possible. If you are having guests, encourage them to park in the lake or pavilion parking lots, especially if they are overnight or longer-term guests. This is intended to stop the habit some residents have of parking on the streets on a regular basis and blocking the flow of traffic. While merely inconvenient to most, this could also inhibit access of emergency vehicles to others. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

COMMITTEES FORMING

Posted on: ♦28 February 2012 ♦
Committee

The HOA Board is looking to create three committees and we need your help - Swim Team, Tennis and Architectural Control. Some of you may already be aware of these new or returning committees, so if you have already expressed your interest to someone else, please reiterate that by sending a board member a Facebook message or an email. These committees will help to manage these three areas of the community that in some way affect all residents, directly or indirectly. Even if you don't play tennis or your child is not on the swim team, our teams bring attention to the community and our facilities always bring compliments - which could attract new buyers. Do I need to mention the swim meet parking situation? :) Plus both activities' teams bring in revenue to the community that can be used for the benefit of all in other way. And architectural control can, of course, directly affect our home values. Once we gather enough volunteers, the Board will outline what is expected of these committees. These posts are entirely voluntary and shouldn't take much time away from anyone, and a board member will serve as a liaison on each. We may also look to create other committees in the future, such as a Social Committee to help out with our events, for example. Let's all take a little pride in our neighborhood and get involved in some small way!
